ADROITA’s most important resource is its people. If you are a Government client and require exceptional resources to deliver your program, we have a team of expert consultants who can help.
The current opportunities in Defence programs are significant – hundreds of billions of dollars of investment in the medium term, with a strong focus on creating opportunities for Australian businesses. However, navigating the business of Government and in particular the business of Defence is complex and time-consuming, and may never deliver a return on investment.
ADROITA supports Australian Small to Medium Enterprises solve this problem by helping them to pivot into Defence programs. Maximising our specialist in-house and Defence specific knowledge and networks, we mine their potential, identify their underlying Sovereign Industrial Capability, and support business by:
– Developing 1-5 year strategies aligning their unique know-how with the specific expertise and capability that Defence requires
– Delivering rapid knowledge transfer to SMEs to give them the Language, Tools and the Team to do business with Defence
– Executing a campaign of activities to realise those opportunities

Our CEO and founder is Sarah Pavillard, a Weapons Engineer and ex-Naval Officer.
Sarah is obsessed with Engineering Success in Defence programs by identifying opportunities for collaboration, growth and improvement; finding simple solutions inside complex problems; translating technical Defence speak into plain requirements for Small to Medium Enterprises; and supporting Government clients with critical engineering, strategic, and program/project management expertise.
She has more than 20 years of Defence experience working both as a Naval Officer and as a consultant. Her edge is a unique combination of strategic, commercial and technical expertise, enabling her to bring a precise mix of skills, people and deep domain knowledge to ADROITA’s clients; with a watchful eye always on the end customer – The Operator or The User.
Sarah loves working with companies to help them Engineer Success: to see the true value of their capability and capacity; to harness opportunities to realise untapped potential by pivoting into the Defence Supply Chain; and in doing so create and support Sovereign Industrial Capability to futureproof their businesses and directly contribute to the national interests of Australia.
As an Engineer at heart, Sarah is a passionate advocate for diversity, in particular Women and Girls in STEM. Sarah is the founder of Women in Maritime and Shipbuilding Australia (WIMSA), a network supporting and advocating for the interests of women in this burgeoning industry in Australia.
When she is not Engineering Success for ADROITA’s clients, Sarah loves spending time on the water with her husband and three children, training for marathons with Sydney’s best run club, reads crime, and has an avid interest in natural history and botanical art.
