A Navy veteran, Ben has spent the past several years in senior communication and marketing roles in the defence industry, and prior to that he was a senior speechwriter in the Department of Home Affairs, and later at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Ben has written for Prime Ministers, Ministers, Departmental secretaries, CEOs, senior Australian Defence Force officers, ambassadors, and many other people. He is adept at writing speeches, Cabinet or Ministerial submissions, Parliamentary committee statements, opinion editorials, quad charts, report forewords, talking points, media statements, news articles, managing social media, and writing anything requiring a strategic narrative. He is passionate about strategic communication, marketing, and leadership.
